Paolo's illustrious career began in 1973, tackling a range of projects – from bridge and railway building to industrial engineering. Since then, he has proven his ability to deliver innovative engineering solutions for myriad projects, time and again.
Instead of listing the types of projects Paolo has tackled during the course of his career, we thought it more prudent to list the types he hasn’t – but to be honest we’re having trouble thinking of any.
Since completing his degree in 1972, Paolo career has taken him around the world, tackling a diverse range of roles and challenges in Australia, Europe. Today, as a leading figure at GCSE, his primary focus is training and conceptual designs, drawing on his extensive experience, which spans:
Structural design of large steel and concrete structures (industrial, marine, slipways, bridges, retaining walls) Further The structural work recorded is all my personal work over the years and certainly in the last 3 years has included multi storey residential high rise , medium density inclusive of foundations and structure , including piling , and earthquake code compliance and currently working on six storey frame construction designs including post-tensioned transfer slabs, bridge design, certifications.
My present professional practices in the functions following:

Since graduating Willies' career has spanned Australia, as well as the structural engineering spectrum.
In this time, Willie has been the driving engineering force behind a host of high profile projects:
William Osmo graduated from the University of NSW in 1970 as a Civil and Structural Engineer. Have worked several jobs whilst studying, and in 1974 started a Steel fabricating company in Botany.
In 1975 returned to Consulting with various Companies as a Consulting Engineer in Structural, Civil and Remedial.
Apart from the usual structural designs for residences, block of units, factories and large clubs, he carried out a lot of inspections for many strata managers for problems developing in old blocks of units around the Eastern Suburbs and beach areas of Sydney.
His expertise extends to Scaffolding, Design of Formwork Systems, building safety screens, soffeit inspection prior to concrete pours and all temporary works associated with the high rise construction. He also inspects and certify swing stages and design scaffold systems for buildings access .
On demolition side of construction he has assisted many demolishers with their methodology, supervise their works and certify the temporary nature of the required supports and overall safety of operation.
